Ranch Smashed Tater Tot Salad

Crispy, creamy, and completely addictive, this Ranch Tater Tot Salad combines golden baked tater tots with fresh veggies, cheese, and a high-protein ranch dressing made with Spicetein Ranch Seasoning. It’s the ultimate crowd-pleasing side dish that feels indulgent but delivers real benefits.

Ingredients

For the Salad:

  • 1 (32 oz) bag frozen tater tots
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup red onion (diced small)
  • ½ cup chopped green onions or chives
  • 1 cup small diced cucumbers

For the Protein Ranch Dressing:

  • 1 cup plain full-fat Greek Yogurt
  • 1 ½ half servings (3 tbsp) Spicetein Ranch Seasoning
  • 1-2 tbsp water (to thin slightly)

Instructions

  • Bake tater tots according to package instructions until golden. Remove and lightly smash down each tater tot until flattened. Put back in the oven until golden and crispy.
  • Let cool for 5-10 minutes so they stay crisp when mixing.
  • In a small bowl, combine Greek yogurt and Spicetein Ranch. Thin with water if needed.
  • In a large bowl, combine tater tots, cheddar, red onion, green onions, corn, and diced cucumber.
  • Gently fold the dressing until evenly coated.
  • Garnish with extra green onions or dill and serve immediately!
